Aeropress

AeroPress was founded in 2005 by Alan Adler, a former Stanford University engineering lecturer and accomplished inventor. After inventing the world-record-breaking Aerobie frisbee (yes really), Adler turned his designer's eye to coffee, after continual frustration with drip machines and French presses. He wanted a faster, smoother way to brew a single cup of coffee, and after experimenting with dozens of designs, he created the AeroPress, a compact brewer that uses air pressure to extract rich, flavourful coffee in under a minute.

These days, AeroPress is a firm favourite with coffee lovers all over the world. Known for being portable, versatile, and ridiculously easy to use, it can brew everything from rich, espresso-like shots to smooth, clean filter coffee. It’s affordable, reliable, easy to clean and loved by everyone, from casual home brewers to globe-trotting coffee geeks and pro baristas. There's now even a World AeroPress Championship, a global contest that’s all about celebrating creative brewing. Safe to say, it's a modern coffee icon. Give one a try and you'll see it wasn't just the frisbee Adler perfected
