ALLDAY GOODS

Allday Goods was founded by ex-chef and restaurateur Hugo Worsley, after years spent working in and around kitchens. When asked by friends where to buy affordable, high-quality kitchen knives, he realised he never had a good answer. Recognising a gap in the market that wasn't being met, but feeling that traditional knife designs were bland and unexciting, Hugo decided to produce a high-performing version with a bit more character. He'd already seen the huge amount of landfill-destined plastic created by professional kitchens, so he set to it in his parent's shed with a toastie maker and some milk bottle tops, and after a few iterations Allday's iconic marbled handle was born.

Fast forward a few years and Allday now produce a range of professional-grade knives, all sporting handles born from recycled plastic. They work with master bladesmiths in Seki (Japan), Somerset (UK) and Sheffield (UK), each bringing different expertise and aesthetics to the collection. And with that offering, it's hardly surprising they've seen such success; from 500-person queues at 10am to 100-piece runs selling out in 76 seconds (we're not kidding). They've collaborated with legendary designers (Paul Smith), celebrated restaurants (Bao) and featured in prominent national publications, including GQ, Esquire, Wallpaper and Hypebeast, so it's Good to know we're not the only fanboys in town.
