HELLE

Helle was established in 1932, in the small Norwegian village of Holmedal, located on the edge of a remote coastal fjord. Founded by two brothers in the family's blacksmith forge, production continues today in a factory which sits atop an old Viking boat burial site, in the same rugged location it always has. Today Helle are generally regarded as the finest sport knife-maker in the world, producing the highest quality blades for hunting, fishing, bushcraft and survival practices.

Handmade using a variety of materials, all knives benefit from almost 100 years of mastery. Blades are fashioned using their proprietary triple-laminate steel, which sandwiches softer, more durable steel around a sharper, more brittle core. Handles are fashioned from native Norwegian curly birch and their leather sheaths are handmade in-house too. Whilst expertly made to last decades, looks are just as important to their designers and bladesmiths. Each knife is crafted as a showpiece the holder can be proud to own and use, before passing it down to the next generation. As a gift, we're not sure you can get much better than this.
