Narex

Narex was founded by Vaclav Richter in the small town of Bystrice, Czech Republic, in 1919. From humble beginnings in a blacksmith's shop, Narex grew under the guidance of Richter and his descendants to become a globally renowned brand in the world of woodworking, embodying the unique fusion of traditional Czech craftsmanship with modern tool design. Today, after over a century, every Narex tool is still made in Bystrice, staying true to the brand's proud roots.

Narex's range of chisels and screwdrivers are famous for their durability, precision and exceptional quality. These tools are crafted from the finest materials, including chrome-manganese and chrome-vanadium steel, hardened to provide excellent edge retention with the ability to be easily honed. The handles, usually made from sustainably sourced European beech wood, not only provide a comfortable grip but add wonderfully to the tool's aesthetic appeal, as do the presentation boxes accompanying the more premium sets. Owning a Narex tool means possessing a piece of true Czech craftsmanship, engineered to perform and built to outlast a lifetime.
