The Matador BetaLock™ is a versatile, airport security-compliant locking carabiner designed to enhance security and convenience for travelers and everyday users.

Crafted from forged 6061 aircraft-grade aluminium, the BetaLock™ combines strength with a lightweight profile, weighing just 1.94 ounces (55 grams).

Its compact size—3.7 inches in height, 2.5 inches in width, and 0.47 inches in depth (9.3 x 6.3 x 1.2 cm)—makes it easy to integrate into any setup without adding unnecessary bulk.

The carabiner includes a spring-loaded gate, allowing for quick, one-handed attachment and use like a standard carabiner when unlocked.

When extra security is needed, an integrated deadbolt-style locking mechanism can be engaged with the included keys, helping to deter grab-and-go theft by preventing the gate from opening.

The lock is TSA compliant, meaning airport security personnel can access it with a universal key if required during inspections, avoiding unnecessary damage or delays.

It’s not intended for climbing or load-bearing activities, but is ideal for locking zippers, securing bags, or attaching gear in both urban and travel environments.

Available in three colors, the BetaLock™ can double as a gear identifier, helping distinguish your belongings while adding a subtle visual touch.
