The clear body shows the reels turning as music plays, with a vertical layout that lets a favourite cassette sit on display while you listen.

This Transparent Edition reveals both the top and bottom of the player’s inner workings, offering a full view of the cassette mechanism, circuitry, and wiring. By contrast, the standard model only exposes the top cover, with a solid-coloured base that hides the internal components.

There are three ways to use it: play a standard cassette through the built-in stereo speakers; insert the included Bluetooth 5.0 “REAL TAPE” to turn the unit into a Bluetooth speaker for your phone; or use that same cassette in other players to turn old boomboxes into Bluetooth speakers.

Stereo output is clear and full for its size, with two 4 Ω / 5 W speakers and a subwoofer vibration membrane adding low-end presence.

Controls are kept familiar — play, fast-forward, rewind, stop, and pause — with a rotary volume dial and an LED charging indicator for quick checks.

Power is flexible: it runs on four AA batteries or via USB-C. USB-C supplies power when no batteries are installed; if you use rechargeable AA cells, they can be charged in-device over USB-C. Never charge alkaline or carbon-zinc batteries.

Approximate size is 12 × 13 × 11.5 cm; weight is 713 g without batteries — compact enough for a shelf or desk, solid enough to feel like proper hardware.
