Why It Made The List

The Club collection takes advantage of LSA's industry-leading glassblowers, who are able to expertly blow layers of brown glass within a clear glass encasement. The result is a striking colouration inspired by the ambience of a member's club. As well as the moody aesthetic, the process gives this 1.05 litre decanter a notably heavy, stable base. To finish, each stopper is hand-ground to ensure a tight fit with its decanter, a detail that minimises evaporation and makes these impressive pieces as practical as they are artistic.

LSA's Whisky Club collection features mouth-blown whisky drinkware and accessories, inspired by the ambience of a members' club. Deep brown glass echoes the colour of peat, used to give whisky a distinctive smokiness.

The centrepiece of the collection, this incredibly handsome decanter is a piece of art in its own right. It's hand made by some of the industry's most experienced glassmiths, who case the brown glass within a layer of clear and grind the stopper by hand to ensure as tight a fit as possible.

The process gives the piece a notably heavy base that prevents spillage and conveys quality, a detail that's critical in something that's designed to last decades. Whether giving as a gift or buying for yourself, this one makes for a conversation-starting addition to any whisky lover's set up.

Due to the hand-blown production process and as with all such premium glassware, the decanter should be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried with a soft cloth.
