A beautifully crafted backgammon set that brings together traditional Greek craftsmanship and the rich, distinctive grain of walnut burl. 

The smallest in the Manopoulos range, its compact dimensions make it a perfect travel set, without sacrificing the quality and character of its larger counterparts.

The exterior is finished in walnut burl, prized for its swirling grain patterns and natural variations in colour, ranging from pale brown to deep chocolate. Each board has its own distinctive character thanks to the natural figuring of the wood.

The playing field combines walnut burl with contrasting oak and dark wenge points, creating a refined, richly textured interpretation of the traditional backgammon board.

Each set is handmade using marquetry, a traditional woodworking technique in which carefully cut pieces of veneer are applied to a surface to create decorative patterns. The result is an intricate finish that highlights the different colours and grains of the timber.

Integrated side racks provide dedicated storage for the playing pieces, keeping everything organised between games.

The set includes 30 mother-of-pearl checkers, four dice and a doubling cube. The extra-small version is supplied without dice cups.

Handcrafted in Greece by Manopoulos and presented in a branded gift box.
