Why It Made The List

A compact rescue knife built for fast, practical cutting when a normal pocket knife just won't cut it. The K.220 comes in two blade options: a safer chisel-tip version for emergency work around people, straps, rope and webbing, or a pointed-tip version when you want a more conventional piercing point. Both use a fixed 420HC stainless blade with a black PVD finish, combining curved and serrated edges for different cutting tasks. The patent-pending Twist-Lock Sheath keeps it secure until needed, then deploys with a twist of the wrist. The K.220 is a compact fixed-blade search and rescue knife, available with either a blunt chisel tip or sharp pointed tip to suit different uses.

The blade combines curved and serrated cutting edges, giving two cutting profiles within the same compact design.

The blunt version uses a flat chisel tip designed for emergency and rescue work, while the sharp version provides the alternative pointed blade profile.

The blade is made from 420HC stainless steel with a black PVD finish and measures 6.5cm long and 2.7mm thick.

The GRN handle keeps the overall knife to 16.3cm long and 14.7mm thick.

Tactica’s patent-pending Twist-Lock Sheath secures the fixed blade for carry and releases it with a twisting action.

The sheath includes an integrated belt clip, MOLLE slots and zip-tie cutouts, providing several mounting options for packs, belts and other equipment.

The K.220 weighs 145g and is designed for use around water, with Tactica specifically identifying its stainless-steel blade for water operations.

Registering the K.220 with Tactica provides a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
