Why It Made The List

A tougher, more versatile take on the traditional packing cube, built for travellers who want order without treating their gear delicately. This Juniper set includes 8, 5.5 and 3 litre cubes, each with wide bucket-style openings, compression straps, grab handles and tether points, so they work just as well for shoes, cables and camera kit as they do for clothes. The 100D recycled nylon, sealing zips and weather-resistant build add real durability, while the high-vis interiors make everything easier to find. Smart, lightweight organisation for luggage, road trips or larger gear bags, without the flimsy feel of standard packing cubes.

MORE DETAIL

A set of three top-loading gear cubes designed to organise clothing, shoes and other kit, whether packed inside a larger bag or used on their own.

The set includes three sizes: an 8-litre large cube, 5.5-litre medium cube and 3-litre small cube. Each has a wide, bucket-style opening and high-visibility interior to make packing and finding your gear easier.

Compression straps help secure and compact the contents, while external grab handles and tether points make the cubes easy to carry, move or attach.

The cubes use waterproof 100D bluesign® recycled nylon with #5 DuraGlide™ sealing zippers. Matador describes the overall construction as weatherproof, although the cubes are not designed for sustained heavy rain or full submersion.

The large cube measures 28 × 20 × 15cm and weighs 94g; the medium measures 28 × 17 × 13cm and weighs 87g; and the small measures 28 × 14 × 10cm and weighs 79g.

Their flexible construction allows them to flatten down when empty.

Machine wash cold and hang to dry.

Supplied as a set of three in Juniper and backed by Matador’s two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
