The Black Steel version is finished with an ultra hard, scratch resistant 4µm tungsten carbide layer that is nine times harder than stainless steel and normally found on high performance cutting tools. A small, beautifully machined capsule designed to sit on your keyring and carry the things you never want to be without. Wingback makes it from stainless steel with a black PVD finish, and the result feels dense, precise and built with real intent.

The idea is simple. Unscrew the back, drop in a tightly rolled banknote or a small emergency item, then seal it up again. The threading is smooth, the cap closes with a clean mechanical feel, and once it is locked you would never guess what is inside.

The body has a subtle winged cutout that makes it easier to grip and gives the piece its name. The PVD coating adds scratch resistance and keeps the finish looking crisp even after years of keys knocking around beside it.

It weighs 56 g, enough to feel reassuring without being cumbersome. The internal chamber is sized for a single note or similar slim essentials, and the whole thing hangs neatly on a keyring without getting in the way.
