A striking two-deck collection that turns typography into a visual language for play, designed by Paula Scher and her team at Pentagram — one of the most influential design studios in the world.

Each deck celebrates a different aspect of typographic form: one in red, one in black, both transforming letterforms and punctuation into dynamic compositions that stretch, overlap, and collide across every card face.

Produced by Art of Play and printed in the USA by the United States Playing Card Company, the decks use premium crushed-stock paper with an air-cushion finish for smooth handling and long life.

The tuck boxes are printed on uncoated stock with bold wraparound typography and minimalist detailing, reflecting Scher’s signature balance of precision and playfulness.

Standard poker size and traditionally cut, they’re as functional as they are conceptual — a celebration of graphic design that invites use rather than reverence.
