MINIPRESSO GR2

The Minipresso GR2 is Wacaco’s compact hand-powered espresso maker, designed to make proper espresso wherever you have ground coffee and hot water, with no electricity or batteries required.

Its manually operated piston generates up to 18 bar of pressure, extracting a rich espresso with crema without the need for a powered machine.

The standard 60ml water tank is designed for a single espresso, while the modular design allows it to be replaced with Wacaco’s larger 80ml or 120ml tanks, sold separately.

An adjustable basket system lets you use either 8g or 12g of ground coffee, giving you control over the strength and style of your espresso.

The built-in cup screws neatly onto the machine for travel, while the compact construction keeps everything together when packed.

The GR2 measures 12.5 × 7.1 × 6cm and weighs 285g.

It should be used with finely ground coffee and requires hot water to be added separately.

The Minipresso GR2 is hand operated and does not heat water itself.

MINIPRESSO GR2 CASE

This protective case is made specifically to keep the Minipresso GR2 safe from the inevitable bumps and scratches that come with travelling.

The semi-rigid shell uses shock-resistant EVA, with an outer layer of pure wool felt that gives it a softer, more considered finish than a typical hard travel case.

Inside, a durable polyurethane coating adds waterproof protection.

A built-in attachment loop lets you clip the case to a carabiner, useful for carrying it on a pack or keeping it close to hand when travelling.

The case is made from 50% EVA, 25% wool and 25% polyurethane.

It measures 16.7 × 10.2 × 7.4cm and weighs just 100g, so it adds relatively little bulk to the GR2 when packed.
