Experts Say

This book is so beautifully designed with such great images that not only does it talk about modern objects of desire, it also is one - Robb Report

Why It Made The List

We love this book. It's the definitive guide for men who love classic styling, which to our mind renders it mandatory reading. It examines the iconic and everyday alike, charting the history, proponents and styling rules of counterculture heroes, from the utilitarian white tee to the A-2 flying jacket. On-screen legends are used to demonstrate the power and swagger of these carefully curated sartorial superstars, breaking down the looks that immortalised the likes of Dean, Brando and McQueen. As such, it's a book about two types of icon: the clothes themselves and the men that wore them best, making fascinating reading for anyone remotely interested in menswear, timeless styling or classic cinema from decades past.
