The heads are forged with C45 steel to ensure they last decades whilst retaining a useful edge. In fact Adler offer a lifetime guarantee on metal parts to prove the point.

Handles are fashioned from European ash, a wood which is widely known for being strong, yet light; something that's critical in a tool you could be using all day. The heads are then hafted to the handles using both ring pins and wooden wedges to ensure they're not going anywhere.

The attractive green anti-slip paint is slightly textured to ensure it doesn't slip out of your hand, whilst being water-based to lift its green credentials.

To add to their offering, Adler themselves employ a laudably green processing approach, using only FSC-certified timber and powering their whole factory with wood waste.
