The Avanta Pakkawood Carving Set is Messermeister’s two-piece carving kit, designed for clean, controlled slicing and stable serving at the table or board.

The set includes a long, narrow carving knife and a matching carving fork, intended for roasts, poultry and larger cuts of meat.

The knife blade is made from X50CrMoV15 stainless steel, chosen for its balance of edge durability, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.

Hollow-ground kullens along the blade help reduce drag and sticking when slicing, allowing for smoother, more consistent cuts.

Both pieces use stamped, full-tang construction for strength and balanced handling without unnecessary weight.

The handles are made from Pakkawood, a resin-infused hardwood composite that’s moisture resistant, durable and comfortable in prolonged use.

The fork is designed to hold joints securely in place while carving and to assist with clean transfer from board to platter.
