Everything New York-based Ten Thousand make is designed in collaboration with elite athletes. Their signature Interval Shorts are no different. This athlete-led design approach means only the toughest, most flexible, supportive and hard-wearing kit makes it to the shop floor.

The Intervals are the brand's poster child, lauded by every fitness/men's magazine as the most versatile options out there today. And quite rightly.

The fabric is light but incredibly strong, made from a polyester/spandex mix that's flexible and quick drying, with enough stretch to facilitate exaggerated movement without compromising on durability. This mix of strength and flexibility is the reason they're so versatile, with advocates using them for all sorts, from running to football, Crossfit to swimming and everything in between.

Multiple pockets have you covered for anything you might need to bring along, with zipped and unzipped versions, as well as key slips and the all important elasticated phone compartment on the liners.

Speaking of the liner, it's the best we've tried. Incredibly comfortable and light, it's not too thick and doesn't ride up like most. The finely stitched seams don't rub or irritate and it supports exactly where it should.
