A rechargeable electric lighter that replaces the traditional flame with a high-voltage plasma arc. Designed for lighting candles, stovetops, grills and campfires, it combines a distinctive brass-finished body with a clever folding mechanism that makes it easy to carry and store.

Rather than relying on butane or lighter fluid, it generates an electric arc between two electrodes. The windproof design makes it particularly useful outdoors, where conventional flames can struggle.

The pivoting arm extends for use and folds neatly back into the body for storage. A built-in safety mechanism prevents ignition until the arm is fully extended to 180°, helping to avoid accidental activation.

The body is constructed from die-cast zinc with tumbled brass and copper plating, giving it a substantial feel and a finish that will develop a natural patina over time.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, it provides approximately 40 ignitions of seven seconds each on a full charge. Recharging is via USB-C, eliminating the need for disposable fuel cartridges.

When folded, the lighter measures approximately 10.8 × 2.2 × 1.8cm, extending to 19.1cm in length when opened. It weighs approximately 132g.

For care, wipe the brass finish with a soft microfibre cloth, avoiding abrasive or acidic cleaners. The electrodes can be cleaned with a cotton bud or soft brush when the lighter is switched off and unplugged.

Supplied with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

Backed by Barebones' two-year limited warranty.
