At roughly 41cm long and 3.8cm thick, it has the presence of a serious working board without becoming too oversized for everyday cooking.

The edge-grain construction gives it a durable cutting surface, while the chevron pattern brings a more considered, furniture-like finish than a plain chopping board.

One side includes a tablet-holding slot, so a recipe can be propped up while cooking.

Flip it over and the other side has a juice canal, making it better suited to carving, slicing, and serving food with more moisture.

It’s made from FSC-certified teak, a naturally oil-rich wood that Teakhaus uses for its balance of durability, knife-friendliness, and lower maintenance.

The board comes pre-oiled with a mineral oil and natural beeswax coating, so it’s ready to use after washing, rinsing, and drying.

Care is simple but worth keeping up with: hand wash, towel dry, and apply food-grade mineral oil two or three times a month to keep the wood in good condition.

The teak is sustainably sourced from FSC-certified forests and made through zero-waste production.
