A substantial end-grain teak chopping and carving board, combining the durability of a traditional butcher's block with a distinctive checkerboard pattern. Designed for everything from everyday food preparation to carving larger cuts of meat.

Made from sustainably sourced, FSC-certified teak, the board uses end-grain construction, with the wood fibres facing upwards to create a resilient, knife-friendly cutting surface. The fibres naturally close around shallow knife marks, helping preserve both the board and your blades.

The reversible design offers two useful working surfaces. One side features a juice canal to catch liquids when carving meat or preparing particularly juicy ingredients, while the other provides a flat, uninterrupted surface for everyday chopping.

Integrated hand grips make the board easier to lift, carry and reposition, while its thick construction provides a stable working surface.

The board measures approximately 42 × 30.5 × 3.8cm and weighs 2.75kg.

Pre-oiled with mineral oil and natural beeswax, it's ready to use after an initial wash. Hand wash and towel dry after use, and apply food-grade mineral oil two to three times a month to maintain the wood. Not dishwasher safe.
