This substantial butcher block is made for serious prep, with the weight and thickness to stay planted while chopping, slicing, or breaking down larger ingredients.

At 61cm long and 3.8cm thick, it has the presence of a proper working board, but it’s also handsome enough to leave out as a permanent feature of the kitchen.

The end-grain teak surface is designed to close knife marks naturally, helping protect both the board and your blades over years of use.

It’s reversible, with smooth cutting surfaces on both sides and hand grips that make it easier to reposition despite its weight.

The teak is sustainably sourced from FSC-certified forests, and Teakhaus states that the board is made through zero-waste production.

It comes pre-oiled and ready to use, with a mineral oil and natural beeswax coating applied before it arrives.

Care is straightforward, but important for keeping the board in good working condition.

Hand wash, towel dry, and apply food-grade mineral oil two or three times per month to maintain the wood properly.
