These incredibly hard-wearing oven mitts are thick, robust, comfortable and durable, and will develop a unique patina over time, with continual use. The rawhide leather really will last years and the exterior texture speaks to the quality production methods employed - as soon as you touch them you can tell they're extremely well made. From a gifting perspective it helps that they look fantastic and will certainly smarten up any kitchen.

The length has been extended beyond those of regular oven mitts, to prevent irksome arm burns when getting things in and out of deep ovens or when using over a large hob. For this reason they're also perfect for baking (amateur or professional) and lend a real sense of security. If the task calls for more dexterity however, they can also be rolled up (see photos), which is a nice touch for every day cooking.

As mentioned, they're safe up to 300 degrees Celsius (572 degrees Fahrenheit) and the extra hand padding extends the time you can hold trays or pans without feeling a thing.

They're described as one size fits most, but would generally be categorised as larger in size.
